NM PED, New Mexico Public Education Department This is the State of NM official page giving information on how to notify the state as well as a list of Frequently Asked Questions with answers. click here for State of New Mexico Public Education Departments website August 1st is deadline each year to renew your homeschool, or the day you pull your child out of a private/public school. I have heard that NM is not that big on deadlines, however please try to register by the deadline as it shows we are responsible as a homeschool community.

A very short two page form informing Homeschoolers of their duties and asking for information such as which parent is the instructor, School District you live in, and birthday of the child(ren).
