From September 16–30, bring in the car seat that your kiddo’s outgrown and get a $30 Walmart gift card for your baby’s next car seat! Car seats collected in this program will be recycled 100% by TerraCycle and each component will be diverted from the landfill.
Walmart and where to find participating stores
As of 9/18/2019, the local Belen and Los Lunas Walmart stores are participating Sept. 16th-30th. I saw a news story stating that they ending on the 21st, due to a larger response than they expected. I did trade in our old car seat and did receive a $30 Gift card at a Walmart in Albuquerque on the 20th.
Other stores are currently also having trade in days, as I believe target is giving 20% off a new car seat by trading in an old one.
