Every Kid in a Park Initiative- Extended again for 2017-2018

In order to encourage a new generation of parks enthusiasts and visitors, the National Park Foundation is kicking off its Every Kid in a Park pass program to provide an opportunity for each and every fourth grade student in the U.S. to experience their public lands and waters in person throughout the 2017-2018 school year. This pass provides free access for fourth graders and their families to all the national parks. There are over 400 parks in the U.S. and 16 in New Mexico. In an age of computers and television, the pass provides parents and children with an opportunity to experience our marvelous national treasures and to personally experience the best that nature has to offer.
